The short version

We collect your details only when you send us an enquiry, and we use them only to respond to that enquiry and, where you ask us to, to prepare a proposal for your business. We don't add you to marketing lists, we don't sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes, and we don't use advertising or profiling cookies on this site.

What we collect, and why

When you submit our enquiry form, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, your sector, your number of sites, what you're interested in, and anything you write in the message field.

We use this to respond to your enquiry, to understand what your business needs, and — where the conversation continues — to prepare proposals, arrange samples or tastings, and take the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.

Our lawful basis (under UK GDPR, Article 6) is: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries directed to us.

When you call or email us directly, we hold the correspondence and contact details you provide, on the same basis and for the same purposes.

Technical information. Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and to keep the site working. What we don't do

• We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 — this is a business-to-business website.

Who we share information with

Your information is seen by the Redber team who handle your enquiry. It is processed on our behalf by the service providers who make this website and our business run — our website host (IONOS), our email provider, and [our CRM system — name it if one is in use ⚠]. These providers process data under contract with us and cannot use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK, except where a service provider processes data under UK-approved safeguards (such as the UK GDPR's international data transfer provisions). ⚠ confirm hosting/CRM data locations before publish

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information while your enquiry is live and for [X months / X years] afterwards, so we can pick the conversation back up if you return to us.
